Dining Services
Holton is pleased to partner with Meriwether Godsey to serve fresh, healthy meals on campus. An employee-owned, Virginia-based company, Meriwether Godsey has been in the food service industry since 1985. The company focuses on fresh, from scratch foods, while striving to make decisions that are environmentally and economically sustainable.
The School's Director of Dining Services, Jay Keller, incorporates local ingredients into meal planning. During the growing season many produce items are sourced locally. The PDF menu calendar often does not reflect those purchases as they are often subject to availability. Instead, local items and ingredients are identified with signage, including the name of the farmer or co-op. Many “all natural” or organic ingredients are included in meal planning. These may be featured in dressings, vegetable dishes, soups, and meats.
- Lunch and breakfast are included in tuition.
- Daily meals include vegetarian and gluten-free options, hormone-free milk, salad bar, and soup.
Holton's Dining Room is a warm, open space designed to function both as a welcoming dining area for all three divisions and a multi-purpose meeting room.
