As you look ahead to your Panthers' Graduation and all of the incredible events surrounding it, we want you to have a comprehensive look at the wonderful traditions that will begin with prom and continue through commencement.
Saturday, April 25: Holton Prom: 8 - 10 p.m., Off Campus
Thursday, April 30: Upper School Arts Celebration: 6 - 7:30 p.m., Lewis Theater and Lobby
All Upper School students and their parents, and coaches attend this celebration of Holton's Fine and Performing Arts programs and Awards Ceremony. Please watch the Sunday Skim to RSVP.
Friday, May 1: Blue-White Field Day followed by Senior Spirit Day
Seniors will begin the school day by cheering in the carpool line at drop off and, afterwards, will lead assembly one last time.
Seniors may arrive early for final preparations, and parents are welcome to cheer them on during carpool from the opposite side of the road on Granger Hill.
After the assembly, which parents may attend, all students will participate in an all-school field day. Seniors will also enjoy a final activity with their third-grade buddies.
In the afternoon, all Upper School students will celebrate Senior Spirit Day along with their teachers.
Monday, May 4 - Friday, May 15: Senior Projects
Seniors will learn much more about these projects as the year progresses. An overview of the purpose and requirements may be found here.
Tuesday, May 12: Athletics Awards Ceremony: 5:30 - 8 p.m., Lewis Theater and Front Circle
All Upper School Athletes, their parents, and coaches attend this celebration of our Panthers. Please watch the Sunday Skim to RSVP.
Monday, May 18: Awards Assembly; Senior Project Presentations; and Baccalaureate Dinner
9 - 10:15 a.m.: Award Assembly and select Senior Project Presentations, Lewis Theater
All Upper School students, faculty, and staff attend this assembly. Parents will be notified if their daughter is receiving an award, and all are welcome to attend.
10:30 - 11:30 a.m.: Senior Project Presentations (by Advisory groups, for students and faculty)
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: Graduation rehearsal (Required for all Seniors)
5:30 - 8 p.m.: Baccalaureate Dinner, Holton-Arms Dining Room
All seniors and their parents will receive an invitation to this signature evening, which will feature the reading of the graduate paragraphs along with a very special program.
The program will be photographed and recorded for seniors and their parents. The attire is semiformal.
Tuesday, May 19: All-School Celebration
9 - 10 a.m.: All-School Closing Celebration, The Anne Davis Camalier Amphitheater
All students, seniors included, and all faculty and staff will gather for our traditional closing celebration. Senior parents are welcome to attend.
10 - 11:30 a.m.: Commencement Rehearsal, The Anne Davis Camalier Amphitheater
Required for all seniors, a snack will be provided. Seniors should bring/wear their graduation shoes.
Wednesday, May 20: Commencement
Schedule of Events:
- 8:15 a.m.: Graduates arrive and proceed to Simms Reception Room for class photos.
- 9 a.m.: Amphitheater opens to families
- 9:50 a.m.: Bridge closes for processional
- 10 a.m.: Processional begins
- 10:15 a.m.: Program begins
- 11:30 a.m.: Refreshments on Front Circle
We will have seating available at the base of the Amphitheater for those guests who are unable to manage the steps; golf carts will be available to aid with transportation from cars to the Amphitheater bridge for those who need assistance.
Please note, this seating is limited, and we are only able to accommodate those who need it – family members will not be able to sit with those requiring the seating.
In the event of extreme weather, we will hold the ceremony in the Marriott Gym.
There is no limitation on the number of guests per graduate, indoors or out.
