Before Care
Breakfast Club
- Breakfast Club is available to all students in the dining room. US students may arrive at 7:35 a.m. and LS/MS may arrive at 7:45 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
- US/MS students should arrive through the main entrance/front circle and LS students should arrive through the LS entrance to attend. Breakfast Club is free of charge and offered on a drop-in basis (no registration required).
Wednesday Mornings
Classes begin at 9:10 a.m. on Wednesdays so that Holton employees can participate in professional development, collaborate across departments and grade levels, and attend school-wide meetings. For Lower and Middle School students, we are pleased to offer Before-Care supervision from 7:45 to 9 a.m. on Wednesdays. Lower School Morning Care takes place in the LS Gathering Area; Middle School Morning Care meets in the MS Study Hall.
- Lower and Middle School students arriving before 9 a.m. on Wednesdays are expected to sign up for Before Care. The Dining Room is not open on Wednesday mornings and no breakfast will be served.

Registration is required by 11 p.m. Tuesday night before each Wednesday late start. The rate is $10 per day.
After-Care
Lower School Homework Zone & Extended Day
Lower School Students may attend Homework Zone from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, where they enjoy 15 minutes of outdoor play and then begin homework with supervision by Lower School faculty and staff. Homework Zone starts on the first day of school (free of charge, no sign-up necessary). Students staying for our Homework Zone are encouraged to pack a snack.
Extended Day, the Lower School after-school program, is available to all students in grades 3-6 daily. It is designed for students remaining on campus after the school day has ended. Extended Day runs 4:30-6 p.m. Monday-Thursday (following Homework Zone), and 3:30-6 p.m. Fridays.
Extended Day is billed by the day at $15 per day Monday through Thursday, and $20 on Fridays when there is no Homework Zone. Families may sign up by the Trimester (includes one free week), by the Month (5% discount), or by the day. Pre-registration is required and due by 10 a.m. the day your student will attend, except in emergencies.
Middle School Extended Day
Extended Day is also available for Middle School students who must remain on campus after the school day has ended at 3:30 p.m. Adult supervision and snacks are provided. Its mission is to provide students an opportunity to work on school assignments in a structured, quiet classroom environment.
All Middle School students who have not been picked up 30 minutes after the close of school (4 p.m.) must report to Extended Day. Students must be picked up by 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Upper School Academic day ends at 3:30 p.m. Additional time may be spent on campus for athletics, arts, and club responsibilities. Parents coordinate carpool with their daughters according to their needs. Some late bus options may be available, please check the Transportation page for more information.
