Families purchase a laptop of their choice from a vendor of their choice. Computers purchased through DSR will be shipped to the school and can be picked up at orientation. |
Chromebooks
For the 2023 – 2024 school year, all Lower School students will use a Chromebook for our 1:1 device program. New students entering grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 will be asked to purchase a new, warrantied Chromebook through DSR that they will use throughout their Lower School experience. Returning students will continue to use the Chromebook they purchased last year.
Laptop Computers
B.Y.O.C. (Bring Your Own Computer) Students in grades 7-12 are asked to bring a reliable and approved laptop to school each day with the following specifications:

Families are welcome to purchase a laptop computer from the vendor/reseller of their choice. If you would like to purchase a computer from DSR computer, the IT team will be selecting approved models for you to choose from. If you already have a usable computer that has the required specs, you should not need to buy anything new.
DSR Computer
DSR is an authorized reseller of computer technology equipment for Toshiba, Lenovo, HP, Asus, Acer, Dell, Apple, Fujitsu and Sony among many others. They are also an authorized service provider (warranty/non-warranty repairs) for the listed computer manufacturers.
**PLEASE NOTE** DSR has no affiliation with Holton-Arms. They are a vendor that has provided service to us and a lot of our peer schools for many years. If you purchase from them, you are not “buying through the school” – you are simply purchasing from a vendor we know and trust. All sales through DSR are final and subject to their return policies.
Microsoft Office
Most of our students use G Suite for their productivity apps. If you would prefer to use Microsoft Office, a free copy can be provided for Apple and PC platforms. Instructions on how to install will be provided at orientation in August.
The technology team is looking forward to working with all of you in the coming year. Please watch for detailed information about pricing, financial aid, and ordering this spring.
