US Summer Reading

For the Summer of 2019 Upper School students are required to read five (5) books.

1. Required Grade Level Reading

Please be sure to find the edition with the ISBN number indicated for ease of reference to the text in class.

2. Required Group Reading

Each student will have one required group reading book. Please submit your top five choices Grades 9 & 10 Options and Grades 11 & 12 Options.

By Friday, May 17. Each student will be assigned one of these books (prior to the start of summer) and a book group to meet for discussion in the fall.

3. Free Reading

Summer is a wonderful time to enjoy reading! Each student in Upper School should read an additional 3 books of their choice. We have created a list of ideas, but for this section of summer reading you may choose any book. Here are the suggested Free Choice for Grades 11 & 12 and Free Choice for Grades 9 & 10.
