2021-2022 Wellness Body Sculpt Classes

Welcome to the Holton-Arms Adult Wellness Program. Parents, faculty, and staff are role models for the students at Holton in embracing the importance of healthy activities in their daily lives. The Wellness Program fosters a sense of community and collegiality in a safe and active setting. Individuals of all fitness levels and abilities are welcome.

PARENTS

The Body Sculpt Class will focus on a combination of cardio and strength training exercises to help keep you in shape. The class meets on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 8:30-9:30 a.m. virtually (using Zoom)*. Registered participants will receive weekly emails from the instructor, Meredith McGuire, with details for that week’s workouts. There are a few dates when there will be no class one of these days, but a makeup class will be held on a Friday (please see the full list of class dates below).

This year there will be two sessions:

  • Session A will run September 8 through December 16, 2021
  • Session B will run January 4 through June 3, 2021. 

Registration is currently open for Session A only. Session B will open for registration in December. 

Fees for Session A (September 8 through December 17, 2020)

  • Unlimited classes a week $728.00 (57 classes)
  • 3 classes a week $616.00 (44 classes)
  • 2 classes a week $450.00 (30 classes)

*Please note that all classes paid for must be taken within the session you are currently enrolled. Missed classes cannot be applied to the next session.

Body Sculpt:

The Body Sculpt class taught by Meredith McGuire is back! Body Sculpt is a combination of cardio and strength training exercises to help keep you in shape. Classes will run on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday’s from 4:00-5:00 pm of each week. All classes will be taught in person and in the new and improved weight room. If there is no school on one of these days, the class will not be made up. You may choose to sign up for the whole year or for a particular session. Discounted rate will only be available if you sign up for the whole year. 

Fees:

  • Fall Session Only (September 8 through December 16): $100
  • Winter/Spring Session Only (January 4 through May 27): $100
  • Full School Year (September 8 through May 26): $175

No Classes 9/16/21, 10/12/21, the week of Thanksgiving, during exams (1/19-1/20), 5/3/22 , or during MELO (5/31-6/2).

Yoga:

Alumna Jennifer Katz will lead an hour yoga session in Dance Studio B on Wednesdays through Winter Break. She will lead you through beginner to intermediate yoga poses in your hour session. You must provide your own mat, blocks and towel (if needed). Masks must be worn at all times during the class. The cost is $40 for all five sessions.
