Welcome to the Holton-Arms Adult Wellness Program. Parents, faculty, and staff are role models for the students at Holton in embracing the importance of healthy activities in their daily lives. The Wellness Program fosters a sense of community and collegiality in a safe and active setting. Individuals of all fitness levels and abilities are welcome.

Winter Wellness: Parent/Guardian and Retired Employee Classes 

In-Person Body Sculpt:

Looking for a new workout routine? Grab your weights and come get stronger, more toned and more confident during our hour long Body Sculpt class in Holton’s newly redesigned weight room! This total body, low impact, strength training workout uses a variety of equipment, including dumbbells and resistance bands, to build a strong foundation in order to continually achieve results. Our fitness instructor, Meredith McGuire, will encourage you to continually better yourself so you walk out of class feeling stronger. Meredith is not only a personal trainer, but she is also a Corrective Exercise Specialist. So even if it's been a while since you've been in the gym or have lingering injuries keeping you from working out, Meredith is known for creating inclusive routines that are challenging but not overwhelming. Classes will meet on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 8:15-9:15 in the Holton weight room. 

Zoom Class:

Zoom Body Sculpt classes give you the convenience of working out at home without losing any of the benefits of going to the gym. Zoom Body Sculpt classes are led by Holton's Wellness Instructor, Meredith McGuire, a Certified Personal Trainer as well as a Corrective Exercise Specialist.  So even if it's been a while since you've been in the gym or have lingering injuries keeping you from working out, Meredith is known for creating inclusive routines that are challenging but not overwhelming. The class focuses on whole body strength training, balance, and stretching, with a focus on proper technique to reduce injury. The class meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Zoom. Registered participants will receive weekly emails from the instructor with details for that week’s workouts.
