A team of Upper School students raised over $414,000 in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Students of the Year campaign, a seven-week fundraising challenge.

Team Panthers Against Cancer was comprised of team leaders Emily Ahmed '23 and Abri Ianquinto '24 and team members Sunny Schulman '23, Hannah Ordan '25, Sofia Bernstein '23, Grace Curley '25, Clayton Forsythe '23, Shawnly Behnia '24, Naiya Patel '23, Emma Ventimiglia '23, Kate Lugar '24, and Lily Dorton '23.

Throughout the campaign, the team hosted fundraising events, secured corporate support, promoted their campaign on social media, and created awareness for the life-saving research funded by LLS, which aims to cure blood cancers.

Their impressive total, along with 40 other teams across the National Capital area, raised over $3.6 million, breaking records for the local campaign and on a national level!
