Chamber Singers Perform at National Cathedral

Chamber Singers Perform at National Cathedral

On Wednesday, November 3, the Holton-Arms Chamber Singers performed live and in-person for a live audience at the National Cathedral, marking the first time a Holton choir has had the chance to sing together in concert since December of 2019!

It was a very celebratory (and emotional) evening, said Middle and Upper School Choral Director Trevor Fanning.

"The last 22 months were very unusual for all of us, but I’m so proud of these students who haven’t just persevered, but who shined last night performing with heart, soul, spirit, and beautiful musicianship," he said.

The singers performed Fields of Gold and Light of a Clear Blue Morning. The concert also featured the small vocal ensembles from the National Cathedral School, St. Alban's, Landon, Potomac, and Sidwell-Friends.
