Our Panther of the Week (POTW) recognition is back, honoring Upper School athletes who stand out on the field, court, and trails for their many contributions to their respective team.
Holton athletes participate in sports for all kinds of reasons. They play because sports are fun and satisfying. They play to improve. They play to stay fit. There are many lessons sports can teach - leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, giving 100%, working toward a shared goal, and winning and losing gracefully. They play for Panther Pride.
The School’s philosophy of diversity, continual growth and achievement, and the development of the individual’s greatest potential plays a significant role in our athletic program.
The US Spring Sports Banquet on May 19 included recognition for seniors and 12-season athletes, inductions of new HAA members, and naming of next year's HAA President (Bella Motsco '21).
On April 15, we celebrated the future of six Panthers continuing their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Five are committing to play NCAA Division III athletics and one is off to Division I next year!
