50th Reunion

"A meaningful financial investment in the future of the School in
celebration of your 50th Reunion."

Each April, we are excited to welcome back alumnae, friends, and families for tours of the school, visits with teachers old and new, class visits, parties, alumnae awards, and more! The 50th Reunion is an opportunity to reconnect with Holton-Arms and serves as an occasion for the class to leave a unique legacy to the School, which drives the 50th Reunion Campaign.

As you approach your 50th Reunion, we hope you will reflect fondly on your time at Holton-Arms and consider joining your classmates on campus for Reunion Weekend. We also hope you will consider making a meaningful financial investment in the future of the School in celebration of your 50th Reunion.

In honor of your 50th Reunion, we hope that your gift to Holton-Arms this year will include a gift to the 2017-2018 Holton Fund, as well as a gift to the Class of 1968 Fund, which can be paid over five years, allowing you to maximize the impact of your gift to Holton-Arms.

Here are some of the ways you can contribute to Holton in your special Reunion year. Learn about other ways to contribute.

The Holton Fund

The Holton Fund is the School’s annual fund, which makes up about 10 percent of the School’s operating expenses each year. It is vitally important to the day-to-day operations of the School. Funds are unrestricted, which allows the School to support the areas of greatest need. These most commonly include financial aid, faculty support, athletics, and the arts.

The Class of 1968 Endowed Fund

Endowment gifts to Holton provide essential funds to maintain those qualities that define Holton-Arms. We are especially thrilled to thank Mary K. Farmer Shaughnessy for creating a unique opportunity to leave a lasting legacy for the School. In recognition of her 14 years at Holton-Arms, Mary K. has committed $50,000 to seed an endowed fund in honor of the Class of 1968. To ensure this fund will be held in perpetuity in Holton’s endowment, we must receive additional donations to meet the threshold of $100,000.

Planned Giving

Planned gifts to Holton-Arms include bequests, life-income arrangements, and other deferred gifts. Making a planned gift to Holton-Arms also qualifies you for membership in the Lamp of Learning Society. For more information, visit the Planned Giving page.
