Special Exception

Future Planning

Holton-Arms has filed the the application to the Montgomery County Board of Appeals as the first step in amending its Special Exception. We appreciate your support as we plan for the school's future.

Required signage regarding the application submission was posted on Holton’s property on Monday, December 23, 2024.

Next Steps:

The Hearing Examiner’s hearing on Holton-Arms' Special Exception application was originally scheduled for Tuesday, May 13, 2025. However, Montgomery County has informed us that the hearing date will be postponed to allow more time to coordinate agency reviews. We will update the website with the new hearing date and revised review schedule when we get this information.

We wish to reinforce our commitment to the following:

No parking in the neighborhood for campus events
Noise Ordinance compliance
Not adding a second entrance
