Senior Raises Funds for School Campaign

Inspired by her time volunteering at St. Michael Special School in New Orleans, Carson B. '24 is helping to make an even bigger impact on the community there. 

She and Degan D. '24, a senior at Jesuit High School in New Orleans, both volunteered at St. Michael. Seeing a need, they wanted to give back to the school with a fundraiser to purchase a bus. This bus will transport St. Michael students and faculty to help expand learning opportunities outside of the classroom. From their efforts, a campaign, Love of St. Michael, was born.

"St. Michael's is such an amazing school that provides so many opportunities for all kinds of students to learn and grow to their full potential," Carson said.

So far the campaign has raised over $100,000, meeting their fundraising goal! Way to go, Carson!
