Congratulations to Lauren Hemann '27 for being named one of MoCo360's High School Sports Shining Stars of the Week this week!
Lauren, a freshman on the Varsity Soccer team, helped Holton advance in the ISL Soccer Tournament. Here's what MoCo360 had to say about her:
Holton, the fifth-ranked school in the ISL Soccer Tournament defeated the top-ranked Georgetown Visitation on Nov. 1 in the semifinal. Hemann’s direct kick from the left corner sidelines tied the game 1-1 in the first half. Hemann’s heroics continued as in overtime, Hemann’s direct kick caused the goalie to fumble allowing another teammate to score the game-winner.
Congratulations to Lauren, and to the Varsity Soccer team for an amazing postseason so far! Watch the Panthers team compete for the ISL AA Championship at Episcopal at 3 p.m.!
