Holton Field Hockey Athletes Recognized for Academic and Athletic Excellence

Holton Field Hockey Athletes Recognized for Academic and Athletic Excellence
  • Upper School

Congratulations to the fourteen Panthers who were named to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) High School National Academic Squad, an honor recognizing junior and senior players who excel in the classroom while competing at a high level on the field. The national program recognizes student-athletes who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher through the first semester of the academic year. Four students, Cecilia C. ’27, Merritt F. ’27, Malia H-D. ’26, and Charlotte T. ’27, earned Scholar of Distinction, which recognizes individuals who achieved a GPA of 3.9 or higher.

Senior Remy C. ’26 was also named to the 2025 NFHCA High School Impact Senior Team, a distinction that celebrates graduating players whose full high school careers demonstrate excellence not only in athletics, but also in leadership, character, and service to their communities. To be eligible for selection the student-athletes needed to meet select character and athletic criteria.

“Balancing academics, athletics, and everything else they do is not easy,” said Head Field Hockey Coach Hannah Leckey. “I’m lucky to coach such an intelligent, driven, and hardworking group of young women. These honors are well deserved.”

Congratulations to all of our student-athletes:
