Fourth Graders Team Up With Bikes for the World
- Lower School
Holton-Arms Grade 4 students have taken their learnings beyond the classroom! After completing their unit on Africa, students embarked on a transformative journey at Bikes for the World, a local organization dedicated to providing bicycles to low-income people in developing countries.
Under the guidance of dedicated Bikes for the World volunteers, the fourth graders rolled up their sleeves and got to work, meticulously inspecting each bicycle and removing valuable spare parts. Over 20 bikes were prepared for shipment to Africa, marking a significant milestone in their journey to completing their fourth and final class pillar to become goal change-makers.
As the wheels of progress continue to turn, these fourth graders prove that age is no barrier to making a difference. Through their collective efforts, they are not just changing lives they are striving for a brighter, more equitable world, one pedal at a time.
