“I CAN”: FPA Students Share Their Creative Power

The Fine and Performing Arts Department invited students to look inward and reflect on what makes them unique as artists, performers, and creators. The result? The “I CAN Project,” a bold and heartfelt collection of student voices.

Each participant contributed a personal “I CAN” statement: a declaration of identity, strength, and artistic purpose. From “I can try new mediums without fear” to “I can turn emotion into music by playing my clarinet” and “I can be myself on stage,” these powerful affirmations reveal the passion and individuality behind every dancer, musician, actor, and visual artist.

The display in the Black Box Theater lobby stands as a vibrant celebration of the creativity that thrives within our school and a reminder that the arts are not just about talent, but about courage, voice, and vision.
