Doorways Fall 2024

The Fall 2024 issue of Doorways magazine features the Head of School’s reflections on her first year as a proud “first-year girl,” highlighting the vital role alumnae play in staying connected, mentoring, and inspiring the next generation. This edition honors several of Holton’s cherished teachers, including alumnae who have returned to give back to their alma mater. It also celebrates the unveiling of the new Panther Turf Field, made possible by the generosity of the Holton community. Additionally, readers will have the opportunity to meet Barbara Eghan, the school’s new Associate Head of School.

Scribbler

"Scribbler" is the student-run newspaper of Holton-Arms School, covering a wide range of topics including school news, sports, arts, entertainment, and student life. It provides a platform for students to express their creativity, share important updates, and highlight the achievements and stories of the Holton community. The newspaper also offers a space for student writers to develop their journalistic skills, with content ranging from current events to personal reflections, all while fostering a strong sense of connection within the school.

Founded in 1906 by Carolyn Hough Arms, Scroll is Holton-Arms School’s literary club dedicated to nurturing students' creative writing and storytelling through workshops and prompt-based exercises, with their work compiled into a school literary-arts magazine. Scrolling, the club’s online platform, showcases magazine pages alongside additional student creations, such as fashion design and live performances, and features commentary from artists on their creative processes and the meaning behind their work.
