Building Global Citizens: Holton Hosts 22nd Annual Model UN Conference

The Upper School Model United Nations Club hosted MUN delegations from ten middle schools at the 22nd annual Holton-Arms Model United Nations conference on October 18. HAMUN is a conference designed to give middle school students from our area the opportunity to deepen their understanding of parliamentary procedure. After hearing from keynote speaker David Bigge, an attorney and adviser at the U.S. Department of State, our experienced Upper School chairs ran committees on a range of internationally relevant topics and helped the middle schoolers research, negotiate, and craft resolutions. A special shout-out goes to HAMUN Secretary-General Talia W. ’27, whose leadership made this event run so smoothly!
