STEM Camp for Girls
Is your daughter interested in technology and design? Does she want to understand how programs are built? Then this is her chance to tinker and test, measure and model, design, and discover! Holton-Arms is pleased to offer our fourth annual STEM Camps for Girls. This eight-day program, which incorporates engineering, design, robotics, and even a little art, is a combination of exciting hands-on classroom activities and real world application.
Campers are pushed to evaluate problems like a scientist, to think deeper and form educated conclusions. Within the classroom, the girls will look at architectural design, learn to code using Lego and Sphero robotics, print 3-D models using Tinkercad, and more. Using what they have learned in the classroom, campers will travel to NASA Goddard and the Baltimore Museum of Industry to explore how science impacts the world they live in!
Working with Holton-Arms faculty, campers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in STEM in a safe, enjoyable, and stimulating environment.
