Leland Ingham Beckel, '84

Holton-Arms Career
Leland Ingham Beckel• Played field hockey, basketball, tennis, lacrosse, softball, track and field, and badminton
• Captained the field hockey team for two years and lacrosse and basketball teams for one
• Named MVP of her field hockey and basketball teams
• Won Middle Atlantic Junior Golf in 1983 and at 17 was youngest ever club champion at Columbia Country Club

Career outside Holton
• Competed in U.S. Amateur Championship five times, finishing in the round of 16 in 1998
• Competed in the Women’s U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship from 1996-2000, finishing as runner-up in 1999
• Competed in 2000 U.S. Open Championship
• Hired by Georgetown University in 2001 to start its Division I golf program, which she currently coaches
