Holton-Arms swimmer Caroline McTaggart ’15 is in Omaha, Neb. this week pursuing her dream of going to the Olympic Games. At the start of the winter swimming season, Caroline set her sights on making the Olympic Trial cuts in the 50 free and 100 free. Having qualified for the trials in March, she now has the opportunity to earn a place in London.
“I speak for the entire Holton community in wishing Caroline the best as she competes this week at the trials,” said Holton Varsity Swimming Coach Graham Westerberg. “We wish her nothing but the best. We know she will make Holton proud. Good luck!”
The Olympic Trials are being webcast live beginning at 11 a.m. each day this week. The fastest heats will be broadcast on tape delay on NBC Sports. Heats of the women’s 100 free will begin on Friday, June 29 and the women’s 50 free will begin on Sunday, July 1. Please see the USA Swimming event schedule for more details. Good luck Caroline—and have fun!
