Alumnae Giving

When an alumna takes the opportunity to support annual giving, she is providing for the essential aspects of a Holton education. Holton relies on tuition, endowment income, and a strong Fund to cover the cost of educating our students. 

The Holton Fund is a critical revenue stream for the School that supports all aspects of school life. It provides for the following priorities:

• Attraction and retention of outstanding faculty members 
• Development and expansion of academic programs 
• Enhancement of sporting and cultural activities 
• Facility improvements and daily operations
• Tuition assistance

Statistics show that on average in the United States, families give less to girls’ schools than they do to co-ed and boys’ schools. In addition, families frequently give less to the wife’s schools than the husband’s. Holton asks its alumnae to change these statistics. A gift to the Holton Fund is a tangible sign of your commitment to furthering the mission of the School to cultivate the unique potential of young women through the “education not only of the mind, but of the soul and spirit.”
