Season Preview:
The 2009 season brings a promising group of girls to the Varsity Volleyball team. Last year the team graduated eight seniors and this season the coaches welcome back three seniors and two juniors. Many new faces were added to the group: four juniors, four sophomores, and one freshman. Coach Francis Cornejo continues to lead the Varsity squad. He is excited by the prospect of the new group and is delighted by their hard work during preseason. Coach Cornejo is glad to have the three seniors as team captains, Ariel Cohen, Obianuju Obioha, and Corinne Tucker. The captains have shown great leadership with their new and returning teammates.
