Voices

Giving voice to girls: Holton-Arms provides many avenues—both in class and out—for young women to develop and present their unique perspectives on the world. Students perform original songs, read personal essays, or present slam poetry at Coffeehouse. They design with fabric or clay or oils or pixels. Through art and poetry, they announce their concerns and their demands for making the world a better place.

This year, Scrolling presents traditional favorites such as Coffeehouse, PUNCH, and Performance but also showcases the voice of protest arising as girls examine the complex and changing world around them.
